Call us, or send us your signed Estimate by fax, mail, or email. We will give you an approximate date when we will start your project. That date could change due to inclement weather or a delay in the availability of your roofing materials. When everything is ready and the weather looks good, we will contact you with a project start day.

In most cases, we deliver the same day as your project start date. For example, if we start your project at 7:00 am on Monday, we will have the roofing materials delivered by 9:00 am on Monday. We use a crane truck to load the shingles onto your roof. We may need to place some roofing materials on the ground due to roof steepness, location of trees, or power lines. We're a roofing company that cares.

We have invested in specialized roofing equipment to minimize the amount of debris associated with a typical roofing project. However there is always a possibility of debris entering your home. You may want to cover any items of concern that are not already in sealed containers. Please close all windows and avoid opening them until the work on your roof is complete.

We can temporarily remove your dish and replace it when the work is finished. The signal returns the majority of the time we reattach your dish. If it does not return, contact your satellite provider for a technician to adjust it at your expense.

We suggest that you limit your driveway use until the project is complete. Our roofing crew will need full access to your driveway during daytime hours. At the end of the day we will clean the worksite, but there is the chance some debris may remain until we do our final cleanup when the project is completed.

It's not necessary for you to be home while we are installing your new roof. We're the most trusted roofing company in central Illinois. But if you need to be home, please limit your time outside as debris may fall from the roof and cause personal harm or injury.

If we discover damage and rotten wood on your old roof, we will ensure your roof is safe for you and your family.  We will immediately call you, and we can provide pictures of your roof to document the problem. Then we'll let you know you the cost to repair the damage.

It's almost impossible to prevent 100% of flat roof-related ponding. Some ponding is expected, but it will not compromise the integrity of your flat roof. Water can be somewhat controlled through tapered insulation or the addition of a roof drain to reduce water build-up. We will recommend the best solution for your roof.

Our Equipter will be located below the area of your roof which is currently being removed. When it is full, we transfer the load to our Green Monster dumpster, which is normally placed in the street in front of your house, or possibly in your driveway.

Delays due to weather, illness, and other unforeseen job-related delays cannot be avoided. But don't panic. We will work hard to reschedule your project with as little stress as possible. Our project coordinator will contact you to reschedule your roofing project for the soonest available opening.

Your final Invoice will be emailed to you, and will include any supplemental charges dues to unforeseen damage or rot to your roof. For a complete roof replacement, you will be given the opportunity to meet with Dan Schnell to receive the Manufacturer's Product Warranty and Blackhawk Roofing Limited Warranty.

Payment is expected upon completion of your project. We accept cash or check. We also work with all insurance companies.
